Campingplatz Clausensee, Waldfischbach-Burgalben (Revisit)

The last time I was here was 2024, and at that time the shower environment was bad enough that I had to introduce an entirely new ratings category. Since then, I’ve seen a lot more showers. Many better and many worse. 2 years on I’ve come back to see if things have improved.

The shower building is still the same, a row of showers and toilets exiting directly outside. Last time one of my complaints was that only one of the light bulbs appeared to be working, during my latest visit it appeared that no lightbulbs were working.

Inside the individual shower room there was a small stool and a hook with a thin glass separator being all that attempts to prevent the shower from splashing onto your clothes.

The only light coming into the shower was from a window that was ajar in the top corner. The issue with this, though, was that the window was directly in line with the window of a motorhome parked outside with someone sat within and staring directly at me. I closed the window and showered in the dark.

The quality of the shower itsself was the same as last time, the water was a good temperature and the pressure was good. Because of the nature of the layout there were people milling about outside occasionally trying the door, which made it difficult to relax.
