This campsite feels as though it was created by an alien who was trying to recreate human life with very sparse information. There is an on-site Bistro with a bowling alley inside. Next to it is a swimming pool which lacks any changing rooms, loungers or even a ladder to get in and out. The toilets are fairly modern but are completely devoid of toilet paper, soap or even a hand dryer. It’s not that they have run out and neglected to replenish, there is nowhere they would go. No toilet roll holders or soap dispensers.
As for the showers themselves, they are what I would imagine the person who designed the anti-homeless bench would create if tasked with creating a shower.
Inside the shower cubicle there is no seat and no separator between the wet and dry. Simply two hooks on the wall for hanging your belongings.
The shower is a push-button shower which goes off after a few seconds. The nozzle is at a fixed height. There is no pressure or temperature control, although the water was fairly okay in both regards.
Alongside the push-button, you also need an RFID card to activate the shower. Upon scanning the card, a light flashes green. This light continues to flash, turning amber and then red before the shower shuts off.
There is no indication of the total time or time remaining other than this light, but I believe it’s about 5 minutes. I’ve not tried, but I would imagine the card prevents you from scanning again if you need more time.
